Energy metabolism disorder is one of the causes of Parkinson’s disease (PD). Rodents such as rats and mice are often used to establish animal models of PD. This paper uses bibliometric methods to analyze studies of rats and mice models of PD published between 2009 and 2018 in the Web of Science (WOS) database using software CiteSpace V.
In addition, we conducted a literature review on the status of development and research hotspots in this field in 10 articles Related years.The last in mice and rat PD models derived from the database WOS, and keyword analysis in this article is done using CiteSpace V. A timeline graph developed by software to indicate a focus of researchers in total PD field.A of 8636 articles obtained.
The results of cluster analysis in the field of PD such as nerve inflammation, oxidative stress and autophagy contributes to a systematic review of the pathogenesis of PD. At the same time, based on the properties of the drug model, this review has summarized and compared the different administration techniques and mechanisms of 6- hydroxydopamine (6-OHDA), 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1, 2, 4, 5 -tetrahydropyridine (MPTP), paraquat and rotenone.According for bibliometric analysis, the study of PD is focused on the mechanism of oxidative stress, neuroinflammation and autophagy.
Activated microglia release inflammatory cytokines; Mitochondrial dysfunction caused by oxidative damage to mitochondrial proteins; normal autophagy-lysosomal pathway can lead to abnormal protein deposition in dopaminergic neurons. In addition, although many animal models of PD have been established, there are some limitations to this model. Therefore, it is necessary to develop models that accurately mimic human PD.
